Other education may be accepted to fulfill prelicense requirements. For example, out-of-state broker education or GRI courses may be accepted in full or partial satisfaction of Idaho’s broker prelicense requirements. The Commission automatically waives some prelicense requirements based on an applicant’s education and experience. Click here to find out about obtaining a waiver of one or more prelicense education requirements.
All prelicense courses must have been completed within the five (5) years immediately preceding the license application date.
All applicants, even those currently licensed as a broker in another state, wishing to be licensed as a “Designated Broker” in Idaho must have completed a Business Conduct and Office Operations (BCOO) course OR the current Idaho Brokerage Management course within the previous five (5) years. You may complete the BCOO course by correspondence study. Click here to find out more.
