DID YOU KNOW? The Association of License Law Officials (ARELLO) maintains a searchable database of over 3 million real estate licensees throughout the US and Canada at www.arello.com. Idaho participates by electronically transmitting information from its licensing database dIRECtly to ARELLO. The ARELLO database is an excellent tool for you and the public to verify whether someone is a licensed out-of-state real estate professional.
If you need help to register, log in, or use the new IREC online services, please contact one of our friendly staff members at (208) 334-3285 or (866) 447-5411 (toll free in Idaho).

2009-10 CP Fine Money Courses: Requests for bids will be released this week for providers to offer free Core courses and free or reduced cost broker prelicense courses statewide through the use of the civil penalty fine money. If you are interested in bidding on these contracts, please visit http://adm.idaho.gov/purchasing/bidopportunities.html for more information. When the contracts are awarded and the classes have been scheduled, they will be entered into IREC’s education database. You can search for fine money courses by clicking the radio button that says “Course Delivered with Fine Money – Yes” and the “search” button.
E&O renewal notices for the Commission’s group policy have been mailed. This year’s premium is $186. Renewal payments must be received by Rice Insurance Services Company (RISC) no later than October 1. Otherwise, your renewal is late – NO EXCEPTIONS – NO GRACE PERIOD! If you renew even a day late, you will be at serious risk of losing your retroactive date for prior acts. Renew online at www.risceo.com (a $5 “convenience” fee is added for credit card bank fees), or mail your payment to RISC early enough to ensure your payment is received (not postmarked!) by October 1.
WHEN YOU RENEW YOUR LICENSE ONLINE, your name is placed in a drawing for a refund of your license fee. A new winner is drawn each month at the Commission meeting. Thanks for using the IREC online services! |
