This directory is a complete list of the library materials available from the Idaho Real Estate Commission office.
All library materials are available without charge with the exception of the Continuing Education Course video and audio tapes.
All items can be checked out by both licensed and nonlicensed persons interested in expanding their real estate knowledge and who adhere to the real estate library policies.
Library Policies for Borrowers
CHECK OUT PROCEDURE : Materials may be checked out in person or by mail free to anyone who observes the Real Estate Library Policies.
CHECK OUT PERIOD : Books may be checked out for 4 weeks and audio and video tapes for 2 weeks. A “book return drop” is available in the front door of the Commission office.
RENEWALS : Requests for renewals in person or by telephone are usually permitted if there has not been a request for this material by someone else.
LOST OR DAMAGED MATERIALS : Borrowers are required to pay current replacement costs of lost or damaged materials.
OVERDUE MATERIALS : A $1.00 PER DAY PER ITEM fine is charged for overdue materials. However, if items are late books may not be checked out again until fine is paid and items are returned.
CARE : Please do not mark or turn down pages in books. Do not expose tapes to extreme temperatures.
PERIODICALS are NOT checked out, but may be used in the library.
